EBS Management plc is part of the Charles Stanley group of companies, one of the UK's leading independently-owned, full service stockbroking and investment management groups.
EBS provides actuarial, technical and administrative support services to approximately 365 SSASs and administrative, technical and trustee services to over 2,300 SIPPs. The experienced team of over twenty staff is focused on delivering an effective and high level of service to meet clients’ pension requirements.

Kate
Ragnauth
EBS is headed by Kate Ragnauth, who has twenty years experience within pensions management. Kate started working for actuarial and benefit consultancy firm William M Mercer. She joined EBS Management Plc in 1995, initially as part of a team to develop the EBS SIPP. Following the sale of EBS Management Plc to Charles Stanley in July 2003 she took on full responsibility for running the division.

Barry
Bolland
Barry began his career in pensions with the Inland Revenue (now HMRC). He subsequently worked at National Mutual Life, The Bridford Group and Anthony Gibbs Benefit Consultants.

Barry was a member of the SIPP Provider Group (SPG) for over five years and served as the last Chairman of the Group from March 2005 until the Group's merger with the Association of Pensioneer Trustees later that year. He was responsible for co-ordinating and producing the SPG's submissions to the Inland Revenue in relation to 'Pensions Tax Simplification'.
He was also a member of the Committee of the Association of Pensioneer Trustees (APT) for over four years and the Chairman of the Tax & Legislation Sub-Committee (responsible for co-ordinating and producing the APT's submissions to the Inland Revenue in relation to 'Pensions Tax Simplification'). Following the merger in 2005 of the SPG and APT into the Association of Member-Directed Pension Schemes (AMPS), Barry remained a Committee member with continuing responsibility for Pension Tax Simplification until October 2006.

In May 2005, Barry returned to EBS Management Plc, where he had been a SSAS/SIPP manager during the 1990s, after an absence of seven years during which he worked for HSBC Trust Company as Technical Manager of their SSAS/SIPP Practice.
The Team
EBS has a dedicated staff, many of whom have been employed by the Company for over ten years. This provides continuity to both clients and advisers.
