EBS Management Plc ('EBS') has built a good reputation in the pensions’ market place for being a firm which helps to solve clients’ problems rather than establishing a pre-determined path for all pension schemes.

EBS was established more than thirty-five years ago in response to clients who were disillusioned with the traditional style of pension investment, and who had a desire to manage their own pension funds. This resulted in EBS being one of the first companies to offer Small Self-Administered Schemes (SSASs). EBS’s oldest SSAS, which is still in existence, was established in June 1976. To date we have established over 1,300 SSASs which remain unregulated schemes.

Realising there was an increase in demand for Self-Invested Personal Pension schemes (SIPPs), EBS developed and launched its own SIPP in December 1996.

A large proportion of EBS’s client base has been built up through introductions from a wide range of professional advisers. These advisers have found that the services they deliver to their clients are greatly enhanced by this relationship. Under Charles Stanley’s ownership, EBS has not only been able to maintain the above philosophy but also, through substantial investment, to enhance its position as a provider of SIPP and SSAS consultancy and administration services.
